Terms of Use
Effective date: October 19, 2026
These terms govern your use of WakeDot, an alarm and reminder app for iPhone, and the wakedot.com website. WakeDot is made by XP Studio. By using the app or the site, you accept these terms. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app.
The service
WakeDot provides alarms, reminders, optional wake checks, calendar reminders, and private circles where people can see check-ins and share alarms and reminders. WakeDot is free and contains no ads. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
Not a medical, safety, or emergency product
WakeDot is not a medical, safety, or emergency-service product. Circles share simple check-ins between invited people; they are not monitoring and must not be relied on for emergencies, caregiving decisions, or anyone's safety. If you believe someone may need help, contact the appropriate services directly.
Alarm reliability
Alarm behavior depends on iOS permissions, system settings, alarm configuration, and device state. Circle updates depend on iCloud and can be delayed while a device is offline. We cannot guarantee that an alarm or reminder will ring, or that a check-in will arrive, in every circumstance. Please test important alarms before depending on them.
Acceptable use
Use WakeDot as intended: personal alarms and reminders and private circles with people who chose to join. Do not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, or use a circle to watch someone without their knowledge.
Intellectual property
WakeDot, the Dot logo, the app, its original sounds, and the content of this website belong to XP Studio. These terms do not grant you any rights to them beyond using the app and the site as intended.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, XP Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including missed alarms, missed wake-ups, or missed appointments, arising from use of the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
